Indonesia | Humphrey Fellow

Shinta is an urban designer and researcher. She works at the Center for Urban Design Studies, Bandung, Indonesia, where she conducts applied-research in built environment planning and design. She also volunteers at the Bandung Creative City Forum, a non-profit forum that promotes community development. She holds two master's degrees, one in urban design from the Institute of Technology at Bandung and the other in World Heritage at Work from the University of Turin, Italy. At MIT, she will focus on the mass media as a strategy for community engagement, education and empowerment.
