Akhmed has been an infrastructure project manager at KATCO, a uranium mining company in south Kazakhstan. He has a wealth of experience in the design and construction of utility supply and logistics networks for remote areas. Also, he worked for Prime Aviation, a British-based aviation consulting firm, responsible for strategic business development that brings new technologies to emerging markets. He holds a civil engineering degree from the Kazakh State Academy of Architecture. At MIT, he plans to enrich his knowledge in energy efficiency, environmental protection and socioeconomic equality.
