Turkey | Humphrey Fellow

Ibrahim is the head of the Organized Wholesale Electricity Market Group at the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, Turkey. He is also the president of the Turkish Association of Energy Experts. With more than ten-year experience in the public sector, he played an essential role in the preparation of critical energy legislations, cross-border trade, and tariff mechanisms in Turkey. He holds a B.S. degree in electrics and electronics engineering from the Middle East Technical University. At MIT, he expects to collaborate with scholars and practitioners in the energy field and develop his professional and leadership abilities.
