Ofer LERNER

Ofer is an urban planner from Tel-Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. For more than a decade he has specialized in strategic and participatory planning processes, and developed a strong pragmatic theory-based practice. Before coming to MIT, he worked as a private sector consultant, volunteered as a board member for the Movement for Israel Urbanism, and taught at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. He holds a master's degree in geography from Tel Aviv University. At MIT, he will conduct research on public participation in planning and development, and co-teach the Bronx Planning Studio.
