Dorota Kamrowska-Zaluska

Dorota, a Charted Urban Planner, is a Postdoc Associate and Director of Postgraduate Studies at the Department of Urban Design and Regional Planning, Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology, Poland. Her research focuses on the impact of urban regeneration on development potentials in metropolitan areas and the roles of the private and public sectors in the urban development process. She was a visiting scholar at Dortmund University in Germany and Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in Lyon, France. She is a board member of the Society of Polish Town Planners, Gdansk Division, and a member of the International Society of City and Regional Planners. She has a PhD degree in architecture and urban design and a Master’s degree in finance and banking (Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Rouen, France). At MIT, she plans to focus on public-private partnerships in urban regeneration and on the role of the real estate sector in this process.
