Set up Citrix to access MITSIS from a Mac running OS/X

If you are a MITSIS user who has a Mac running OS/X, you can now access MITSIS using Citrix, which is supported by IS&T. Citrix emulates a Windows environment and allows you to use Host Explorer to get to the MITSIS login screen.

Note: You may find that access to MITSIS through Citrix is slower than through Better Telnet or Terminal. This is typical of emulation programs. Send any comments related to speed to ssit-iteam@mit.edu.

Before you start:

If you already have a Citrix account, go to the instructions for accessing MITSIS using Citrix.

If you do not have a Citrix account, set one up by following the steps outlined in the IS&T documentation. When you have finished, go to instructions for accessing MITSIS using Citrix.

Getting help:

If you run into problems setting up your Citrix account, please contact the Computing Help Desk (computing-help@mit.edu, x3-1101). Tell them that you are a MITSIS user running Mac OS/X who is trying to use Host Explorer to connect to MITSIS through Citrix.
