Leadership Education
To prompt all of the participants to consider leadership, several leadership education sessions are conducted throughout the Forum. The guiding principle for the leadership education is the distributed leadership model developed at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Various cases, games, and exercises are modeled after education materials developed at MIT.
The leadership portion of the Forum is composed of three parts: leadership exercises, keynote speeches, and feedback sessions. During the leadership exercises, participants experience and learn the meaning of each of the four capabilities of distributed leadership (sensemaking, relating, visioning, and inventing) through games and discussions.
