Hallways and Lounge

Our hall has only two sections, unlike the rest of the dorm, because EC desk and Talbot lounge take up the Munroe section of our floor.

This is the Hayden part of our hall. This is where much physical pain occurs, as it is this hallway that we try crazy physical stunts such as walking on walls, or pillow jousting.

And this is our Wood part (I know you like the phrasing). Ironically enough, this section of our hall is mostly populated with females this semester.

Officially, it is room Wood 112-3, but to us it is the Nub. Currently, used for contemporary artwork, it is scheduled to be a freshman double in 2005.

This is a picture of our locked network closet. Notice how three feet above a slop sink is our network hub, connected a mere 18 inches from a non-GFCI outlet. Our janitors never mistake the red extension cord for the yellow network cable either.

This is one half of our lounge. There is a fish tank, a television, vcr, dvd, mp3 box, three seats taken from cars (2 BMW + 1 Toyota), and an important white-board. We hang out and talk, do homework, watch videos and have a good time here. Our current rules for the TV are that anyone can request that it be turned off...for any reason. So if you want to tool out here bring your pset and find some help.

The other half of our lounge. The extra computers and cruft don't always cover the tables, which are primarily usedfor eating, construction, and other large projects. There is a punching bag, and obscured by the (temprorary) couch is a local printer for hall members.

We have 3 chalkboards, and 2 white boards in our hall. Here is one of them

Dishes that don't get taken out of purgatory get thrown down the trash chute. And yes, that's another octagon.
