Keniston, its Director, the MIT India Program has sent nearly 40
students to work in some of India’s premier companies and to
teach web-related skills to high school students. In addition to
arranging these summer internships, it works to increase the
presence of India on the MIT campus through the South Asia Forum
and by encouraging joint research. MIT India is part of MISTI, the
MIT Science & Technology Initiative. [Interested students
should enroll in STS.020, "Intro to India".] (Contact: Kenneth
