Anticipated Funds
Anticipated Funds are items for which the Bursar's Office gives credit before the actual funds have been received. Examples of anticipated funds include: graduate awards, outside scholarships, sponsor payments. These items are tied to a specific term and will not remain as anticipated funds if the actual funds are not received. You may be required to fulfill other obligations before the anticipated funds become actual credits on your student account. If the actual funds are not received, you will pay finance charges or late fees on the resulting balance.
Anticipated Funds are not included in the Previous Balance for purposes of computing the Finance Charge, and they are not included in the Amount Due or in the balance for determining the Minimum Amount Due.
