Ambassador Program

As a returned study abroad student, you have a very important role to play on campus and a very powerful message to share. You lived and studied in another country, you were successful at it, you enjoyed it and you learned a lot. There are no better advocates for study abroad than the returned students themselves.

We encourage you to share your important insights by becoming an ambassador for study abroad at MIT and by becoming involved with the study abroad activities. We are counting on you to reach out to the MIT students who have not participated in study abroad yet and to share your study abroad experiences informally with them and to offer advice. We also hope that you will get involved in our programs for freshman orientation, Fall Global Education Fair, monthly information sessions, CPW events and more.

To become an ambassador for study abroad and to become involved in our programs, please contact us (studyabroad@mit.edu) or stop by our offices (12-189).
