INSTITUTE-WIDE PROGRAMS
Cambridge-MIT Exchange (CME) Program:
The CME program is an undergraduate exchange between MIT and the University of Cambridge, England. Now beginning its sixth full year of operation, the CME Program provides many exciting opportunities for MIT juniors. Currently, fourteen MIT departments and ten Cambridge departments participate in the exchange, and there are plans to expand the program to even more departments in the near future.

MIT-Madrid Program:The MIT-Madrid Program gives students the opportunity to study in Madrid in Spanish for the spring semester. Depending upon major and interests, students can choose courses at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and/or the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Studying with Spanish students and living with local families through homestay arrangements, students will be able not only to study in their chosen fields but also further hone their language skills and gain unique insights into Spanish culture.

IAP Programs:
MIT is offering an IAP-Madrid program, and is a Spanish II language program. IAP-Madrid is taught by MIT faculty and is an MIT course. MIT is also offering an IAP-Germany program, and is a German I lanugage program. This program is taught by MIT faculty and is an MIT course. DEPARTMENTAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
Architecture (Course 4):The Department of Architecture currently has an exchange program for two undergraduates to spend the fall semester at Delft University of Technology. The deadline for this program is Friday March 9 (ADD Date of the spring prior). There is also an exchange for undergraduates with Hong Kong University. The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics has an exchange program with six European universities: Ecole Centrale Superieure de l’Aeronautique at de l’Espace (ENSAE), Imperial College of Science and Technology, Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros Aeronauticos (ETSIA), Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Royal Technical Institute of Sweden (KTH), and University of Stuttgart. Materials Science and Engineering (Course 3):The Department of Materials Science and Engineering has an exchange program with Oxford University that gives Course 3 students an opportunity to spend a semester at Oxford studying in their major.
