We invite submissions of abstracts for papers (20-minute presentation plus 10-minute discussion) on any topic in the semantics of under-represented languages of the Americas.

A poster session will also be held. Each poster will be presented by its authors in a 10-minute talk. A one hour walk-around poster session will then be held.

Submissions are limited to 1 individual and 1 joint abstract per author, or 2 joint abstracts per author.

Due to technical problems with the website, the deadline for submissions has been extended to noon (EST) on January 25, 2009.

Instructions for Abstract Submission

Abstracts must be submitted online using the links below. We use Pasha as our system of abstract collection.

Abstracts must be at most two pages long (including data and references) on a letter-size sheet (8"1/2 by 11") with one-inch margins and typed in at least 11-point font.

Abstracts are anonymous, so all authors' names must be absent from all pages. We will accept electronic submissions only (.pdf files).

If you want to submit a paper but haven't registered yet, please

If you are a registered author, please
