Recently President Simmons wrote to alert you that you would soon be
asked to participate in an important survey of alumni in the Class of
1998.  I'm pleased to provide instructions for participating in the
online survey she mentioned. Please assist us in gathering information
about Brown by taking the time to complete the survey.  Your
participation is important in order for the results of the study to be
representative of the views and experiences of Brown's alumni at ten
years out from graduation.

important that you neither share it nor forward this e-mail to anyone
else.  Also, please save this e-mail should you wish to complete the
survey at a later time.

You may be assured of the complete confidentiality of your responses.
Though the link in this e-mail is unique to you, no personal
identifiers will be used in analyzing the data.  The link will only be
used to avoid sending you unnecessary follow-up reminders.  Reports of
our findings will be aggregate and statistical in nature and will help
Brown to assess many aspects of its academic, co-curricular and alumni
programs.

The individual path you pursued within and beyond Brown University is
important to us, as are the connections you continue to have with
Brown and its alumni community.  We greatly appreciate the time you
are taking to reflect on the role Brown has played in your adult life
