Dear Jagruti,

You recently received an e-mail invitation to complete The Alumni 
Survey.  To ensure our survey results are representative of your 
class and statistically significant and compelling from a decision 
making standpoint, we need your participation in the survey.  This is 
your opportunity to provide feedback to Duke leaders about your 
opinions on your undergraduate experience and information about some 
of your activities since you graduated.

Your participation in this survey is voluntary.  With your 
permission, Duke may match, for its research, your responses to your 
test score information in institutional databases to help analyze 
major and career choice findings, or to other survey responses, such 
as the Freshman and Senior Surveys, to track change over time. This 
information will increase the usefulness of the survey. In all cases, 
your responses to the survey will be kept strictly confidential and 
will not be printed or published in any form that would identify you. 
The information you provide will be used by the senior leadership of 
the university, deans, and faculty leaders, to help guide 
prioritization and decision making on issues important to 
undergraduate students.

We value your ideas and would greatly appreciate your taking the time 
to complete the survey, which will only take about 25 minutes.
