On April 15 we sent you by email an invitation to participate online 
in the 2009 Rice University Alumni Survey.  If you have not yet 
completed the survey, this is a reminder to do so.  I urge your 
participation.  Your opinions and those of your classmates will guide 
the university in making informed administrative decisions concerning 
the quality of Rice's undergraduate education.

I assure you that your responses will be confidential.  The survey 
data will be used for statistical purposes only.  Results will be 
reported in the aggregate and not in a manner that would identify you 
or any other individual.

Rice is participating with several peer institutions that are members 
of the Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE) in 
administering this survey through the web survey facilities at MIT.
