Dear Jag,
 
I am writing to inform you of a survey that Columbia will be
conducting in the coming weeks and to encourage you to
participate. The 2011 Enrolled Student Survey focuses primarily on
your undergraduate experience. It is being conducted by the Consortium
on Financing Higher Education (COFHE) on behalf of its members, which
include Columbia and 30 other leading private universities in the U.S.
 
This particular survey is being administered simultaneously at our
peer institutions, allowing us to make valuable comparisons. To assist
Columbia College in assessing its goals, it will be helpful to hear
from you about the topics covered in this survey. This is a good
opportunity for you to give Columbia the benefit of your insights and
experiences as you are a valued member of our community.

The information obtained from the survey will be kept strictly
confidential. Individual responses are never released. Data gathered
from the survey are used only in aggregate form by Columbia and COFHE.
