Dear IR,

Every four years, MIT surveys all undergraduate students about various
aspects of their academic and student life experience. The faculty and
administrators pay close attention to this information since it is
vital to MIT's future and our commitment to excellence.

This survey is cosponsored by the Provost, the Dean for Undergraduate
Education, and the Dean for Student Life, and is being administered
simultaneously at a number of peer schools, allowing us to make
valuable comparisons. I am asking you to help MIT have a strong
representation in the data that are analyzed in this project.

The survey is entirely voluntary. You may answer as few or as many
questions as you wish. The data will be treated as confidential, no
one will be personally identified, and all results will be reported in
summary form.

Everyone who completes the survey will receive a $5 TechCash
credit. In addition, all survey completers will be entered into a
drawing for several grand prizes. You will be asked to choose your
preferred grand prize on the last page of the survey.

The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. To access
