We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 2008 Senior
Survey.  For the past two decades the senior survey has been one of
the methods by which we gauge the effectiveness of the programs,
services, resources and opportunities we provide our undergraduates.
Therefore, we hope that through the convenience of this web-based
survey you will candidly share with us your views about various
aspects of your undergraduate experiences.  

Rice is participating with several peer institutions (e.g., Duke,
Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Yale) in administering the 2008 Senior Survey
through the web survey facilities at MIT.  Your participation in the
survey is voluntary.  You may answer as few or as many questions as
you wish.  However, we assure you that all data will remain strictly
confidential and will be used for internal administrative purposes.
The results of the survey will be reported in the aggregate and not in
a manner that would identify you or any other individual.

It may take you between 20 to 30 minutes to complete the survey.
Although we encourage you to complete it in one sitting, you may save
your responses and return to complete it before the survey closes on
May 9th.  The final section includes a few supplemental questions on
local hot topics that will be asked only of the Rice seniors.
