Recently you received a letter from John Bravman, VPUE, describing
Stanford's participation in a Survey conducted by COFHE--an
organization of 31 colleges and universities.  While the information
collected permits us to make comparisons with those other similar
schools, surveys like this also give students an opportunity to be
heard.  Stanford participates in the Senior Survey every other year in
the hope that seniors will provide us with feedback about their
experiences at Stanford as well as their plans for the future.
Faculty and administrators pay close attention to this information; it
is central to Stanford's planning and commitment to excellence.

Everyone who submits the survey by May 5th will be eligible for great
prizes: a Stanford chair, gift certificates to the bookstore, and
