Hello Jag, For years Senior Surveys have been given to all graduating students to learn about the full college experience from the senior perspective. With the Class of 2010 we have tried to learn important pieces of information each year (e.g, first year advising, major advising, decision about studying abroad) via Sophomore and Junior surveys, but the Senior Survey has a very different purpose and scope. I am asking you to contribute your viewpoint to this year's Senior Survey. Whether or not you completed the other surveys mentioned above I'd like you to participate this year since the Senior Survey gives us the best look at your overall experience at Colby. Your responses are critical to the College and academic departments in assessing their programs and services. All your voices give us the best perspective on the Class of 2010. The Senior Survey is now available to take. To take it, please click on the url provided below. It should take about 20-25 minutes to complete. The survey will be online through the end of April, and I will send reminders periodically (no reminders are sent once you complete the survey). This survey is being hosted at MIT and is being taken by all schools participating in the New England Consortium on Assessment and Student Learning (NECASL), the group that provided the Sophomore and Junior surveys you have been taking over the years. All employees at Colby thank you in advance for your feedback. [URL] (replaced with the url you provided) Thank you for participating in this important activity. I will provide some summary information for you within two weeks of the survey closing if you participate. If you have any questions please send me an email (wpwilson@colby.edu) and I will respond as quickly as possible. Bill Wilson Director of Institutional Research Colby College wpwilson@colby.edu
