Dear Jagruti,

In the next few days you will receive an e-mail message from me with
instructions for completing an on-line Senior Survey. Designed by the
Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE) for its member
institutions, the Senior Survey is used at Dartmouth and comparable
private universities and colleges to evaluate and improve our programs
and services.

Questions on the survey will ask you to evaluate a range of academic
and extracurricular experiences at Dartmouth and to assess student
support services. This year, MIT is administering the on-line version
of this national survey.

Your response is very important. All respondents will be entered into
a raffle for prizes that include gift certificates to local
restaurants and a lunch with me. When you receive the e-mail, please
set aside a little time to complete the survey. Your answers are kept
completely confidential. The findings from past COFHE student surveys
have helped Dartmouth's faculty and administration improve the
experience of Dartmouth College students and your participation this
year will guide us as we move forward.
