Dear Jag,

MIT needs your help with numbers.

Each year, we survey the senior class. The data we get from this
important effort helps us understand how we compare to similar
schools, what we are doing well, and where we can do better.

Recently, all seniors received an invitation from Dean Hastings to
complete the survey--and more than 30 percent of your classmates have
already taken part. I am writing to ask you to join them because we
want to know what you think, too.

This survey is entirely voluntary. You may answer as few or as many
questions as you wish. The data will be treated as confidential, no
one will be personally identified, and all results will be reported in
summary. The survey takes approximately 20-25 minutes to complete.

As a token of our appreciation for taking this survey, every senior
who completes the survey may choose a $15 credit to TechCash or a $25
Senior Gift contribution to the Class of 2010 Project. You will be
able to select which prize you want at the end of the survey.
