1. When you typically swim now, how long do you usually swim?
2. How far do you usually go?
3. Can you swim freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and
butterfly?
4. If you were to swim 5 sets of 100 yards, what interval
would you do them on?
5. are you interested in swimmming at 6:15 am, noon or
7:00 pm - 8:30. you can attend any session you want, but you
might find it is easier to attend one time regularly. we have workouts
monday through friday at those times.

Summer 2009 session is now set:
Highlights:
The session runs from June 1st to September 6th, 2009.
The fees are:
- $110 for non-students and $60 for students who pay after June 15. If you join the club after July 1, we can prorate the rest of the summer session for you.

General comments:
- Morning workouts are Monday through Friday from 6:15 am to 7:30 am
- Noon workouts are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1:15 pm
- Night workouts are Monday through Thursday from 7:15 to 8:30 pm (NOTE: Friday night workouts are not held during the summer season, except for Friday June 5th since there is no morning workout due to graduation)
- Weekend workout - is on Saturday morning -from 8:30 to 9:45 on June 6th, 10 am to 11:15 on June 13th, then starting June 27th through August 15th from 9:15 am to 10:30 (there are no workouts on June 20th and July 4th and 11th), then move back to 8:30 to 9:45 am for August 22nd and 29th.
- For August 21st to Sept 4th, the noon workouts will start at 12:15 and run til 1:30 pm (instead of noon to 1:15 pm) due to varsity polo practice.

- There is no AM workout on Friday June 5th due to Graduation ceremonies -pool is closed til 10 am
- There are no Friday night workouts during the summer session
- The weekend workout is on saturdays during the summer instead of sundays
- Saturday June 6th is at 8:30 am, Saturday june 13th is at 10 am and then starting on june 27th, we move to the 9:15 am to 10:30 am time
- No workout on Saturday June 20th due to swim meet 6. The Z center is closed for the July 4th long weekend from Friday July 3rd and will reopen on Monday July 6th
For July: (detailed calender here)
- No workout on Friday July 3rd and Saturday July 4th due to Holiday closing of the Z center (which is closed from July 3rd and reopen July 6th)
- Due to Swim meet on July 10th through July 12th, there is no workout on Saturday July 11th.
For August (detailed calender here)
- 1. We switch back to short course on August 7th 1:30 pm
- Saturday am workout switches back to 8:30 am for Saturday August 22nd, 29th and Sept. 6th
- For August 21st to Sept 4th, the noon workouts will start at 12:15 and run til 1:30 pm (instead of noon to 1:15 pm) due to varsity polo practice.
- Due to Labor Day weekend and water polo tournmanet, no workout on either Sat. Sept 3rd or Monday Sept. 5th
- Fall session starts on Tuesday September 8th

if you are not associated
with MIT and you want to swim with us you need to:
-Buy a Friends of MIT athletic
card (cost is $845 for an entire year or $555 for 6 months). for the most up to date cost, please check out the DAPER website
-If you want to spread
out the payments for your athletic card over eleven payments,
you need to contact the customer service desk.
-The MIT Masters Program
is the only Masters program that comes with access to an excellent
gym, a lot of other fitness classes, sailing, and other things.
