I was born in Taipei, Taiwan to Tony and Betty Liao on muggly April morning. At the tender age of two my family moved to Vancouver, B.C. where I mastered English by watching Macguyver and Knight Rider. Eventually we made our way down south, landing me 20 minutes away from Disneyland in the land of good chimichangas and In-n-Out. I started swimming when I was 9, polo when I was 11, and haven't really stopped since.
