About the Team

The Software Release Team (SWRT) is part of MIT Information Services and Technology (IS&T) and is responsible for the release of supported software to the MIT community, including any necessary customizations. This includes operating systems, utilities, and productivity applications on the Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Mobile Device platforms. The team collaborates with others within the MIT community such as business process owners and other stakeholders in making good decisons regarding recommending future products. To assure applications within unique computing environments function, the team relies upon others across the Institute in participating on various release efforts.
