Stretchbreak for Win/Mac Release Project Notebook


Overview

Stretch Break is an ergonomic stretching and typing break timer program. The program reminds you to take periodic breaks from your computer and provides stretches and ergonomic information.

This release effort is for

  • Stretch Break for Windows version 6.3
  • Stretch Break for Macintosh version 6.1

Timeline

IS&T plans to announce support for Stretchbreak by August 2008.

Notable Features

  • New support for Vista and Mac OS X
  • Includes 36 Stretches and 21 Ergonomic Reminder messages
  • Users can customize/select:

  • time interval between breaks (default is 30 minutes)
  • where the "Time to Stretch" reminder appears on their display
  • which stretches and/or messages they want to appear
  • to hear sounds or music during stretch period (or not)

Windows: 456 MHz Pentium processor
Macintosh: 700 MHz native* PowerPC G3, G4 or G5 processor

Memory

Windows: 256 MB RAM
Macintosh: 512 MB of RAM

Hard disk

Windows: 28 MG of available hard-drive space
Macintosh: 3 GB of available hard-disk space

Display

1024x768 or higher resolution monitor

Operating system

Windows XP/Vista
Mac OS X version 10.4.11 or later
