Overview
This release focuses on the TSM backup/archive client for Windows. The
main focus of the release project is to develop a custom installer to
facilitate the installation and configuration of TSM, and to document the
supported usage and features of TSM, here at MIT.
Timeline
TSM 5.4 for Windows is scheduled to be released in April 2007. For

Known
Issues
- Your computer must
be ON at the time of your scheduled backup. Scheduled backups do not
work in Sleep mode.
- The Help menu within
TSM does not work on Vista.
Displaying
the client GUI help on Windows Vista:
The Windows Help program, winhlp32.exe, does not
ship with Windows Vista. Before you use the online help in the
backup-archive client GUI on Windows Vista, you must first download and
install the WinHlp32.exe browser from the Microsoft Download Center. See
Microsoft KB Article 917607 for more information.
