Action Items:
- IE 7 certificate: all tests on Vista, XP, and 200 were complete; Jeff will move new code to the production server next week; Atticus will finalize the installer which will only include registry changes for certificate generations and mit.edu DNS suffix, SUS server settings will not be included for now
- Richard will setup the download site for Vista image prior to January 31; the team will test download site a week prior to going to production
- McAfee stated that VirusScan 8.5 has to be uninstalled from XP prior to upgrading to Vista and then reinstalled under Vista to insure its functionality
- TSM Vista compatible version will be released to MIT on at the end of March
- The date for Vista compatible SAP is still not known
- MIT recommended system requirements for Vista should be listed on Vista Product Front page (MIT minimum requirements for existing machines – 1GB; we will also provide guidance to new hardware purchases -2 GB); if system is 3 years old – do not upgrade; 2 years – yes for desktop;laptops?; when upgrading check with hardware vendor to insure drivers are available; Esther will update the Front page
