Vista Release meeting

Agenda for the meeting:

- Updates on Vista release version

- Discussion of test results and test plan

- Updates on Office 2007

- Discussion of test plans for IE7 and Windows Defender

Action Items:

- IE7, Defender and Office 2007 testing will done for both XP and Vista platforms; for all three products separate product release projects will be initiated; test results will be reported under separate Matrices

- Collection point action for Longhorn server will be added to the Vista notebook explaining the difference among both beta versions

- “User Account Control” documentation will be added to Vista Notebook

- Matrix will be modified to split test results column reflecting the difference in apps behavior when User Account Control in turn on and off

- Subpage for FileMaker and other apps will be created and links added to the Matrix to reflect different version behavior, work around, and more details

- Tests will be done for Vista DHCP connectivity problem (to see if it works with MIT DHCP servers); Office 2003 to 2007 upgrade on Vista and XP platforms; SAP 6.42

- IE7 ActiveX is no longer available for MIT certificate; needs farther testing

- Office 2007 mail dos not work with MIT IMAP settings, cannot send or receive mail; need farther testing
