Vista Release meeting

Agenda for the meeting:

- Updates on Vista release version

- Discussion of test results and test plan

- Discussion of test plans for IE7 in Vista and XP

- Updates on Office 2007

Action Items:

- IE7 in XP and Vista platforms differ in cipher strength: 256 bit in Vista, and 128-bit in XP. Testing will be done for each platform. IE7 test group will be formed.

- Certificate generation is still an issue in IE7; new KFW build will be obtained from Paul Hill’s group to test

- DHCP functionality tests will be conducted by Alex and Richard to check on compatibility issues with MIT DHCP servers; in previous builds of Vista DHCP did not work properly

- New “Vista Product guide” from Microsoft will be included in the notebook

- The scope of future tests will desktop systems; Richard will continue checking on server – client side of Vista (RIS; domain environment behavior)

- Link for MIT Kerberos installer will be added to the notebook
