Action Items:

- Alex presented the team with current Vista project plan; the plan consist of four stages: Stage I ( Vista Beta testing) - Release Team

(now complete); Stage II ( Vista RTM ) - Not made public to IS&T customer base yet ; Stage III - Vista is made available to MIT computing community but not fully supported and recommended by IS&T – January 30; Stage IV - Vista is recommended and fully supported by IS&T – July 1

-Team will retest all apps with RTM version when it will become available this week

-Evaluate set of tools for Vista upgrade

- Richard explained technical details and challenges with activation issue; will continue to investigate key activation method

- Jeff briefed the team on New Horizons training course; Jeff will work on the training plan, Michel will help with training efforts

-MIT CA customized installer will be farther developed and tested

-Issue with MIT CA in Office 2007 is resolved in RTM version

- Team will work on guidelines for upgrade from XP to Vista

-Alex will work on the announcement addressing Vista release staged approach
