Celebration of the Eucharist

Celebration of the Eucharist is the defining element for the Catholic Christian. It is an activity that depends on the active participation of all members of the community. Certain tasks invite your special attention and participation. At TCC, we have Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Musicians. We welcome you to join these ministries at any of the masses..

Lectors

Lectors are responsible for proclaiming the Scriptures during weekend masses. Individual lectors are assigned to read one or two readings several times per semester. Additional opportunities for lectors arise during Holy Week, when extra lectors are needed for performing the Passion. For more information, contact:

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at celebration of the Eucharist. For more information, contact:

Choirs and Musicians

Choirs provide music during the Liturgy. Choirs are relatively informal, and no musical talent is required. Members typically meet an hour before mass to practice. Piano players are always needed, and other musicians are welcomed as well. For more information, contact:
