The SGI has four distinct pieces that are generated from the same CDs: /srvd.2 /os /install /os/extra.
Generate /srvd.2 using inst and the package names, eoe1, eoe2 (I need to check with Andy Shien of SGI)an alternative way is to copy /install and delete everything you do not need. This is the method I took for 5.2 and 5.3.. Add the bootstrap file and AFS.
Generate /install /os /os/extra. There are a set of perl scripts that take the CDs and give a 2+GB partition generate the three file systems and all the needed symlinks. One has to make sure that all the required hardware types are specified at this point or else it will be very hard to add anything else. Remove objectionable files and make sure everything is readable by at least root.
