A major motivation for this project is ADA compliance, so if the user interface is not acceptable to visually-impaired users, project effort will have been wasted. It is unlikely that an interface will be developed that is unacceptable to sighted users, because the implementor is sighted. Therefore the formal requirements of MIT Lynx users need only be those of visually-impaired users.
