James J. O'Donnell (Dr. Strauss)

 

   

At the tender age of 58, he ventured into the world of Community Theatre. His first appearance as an actor, singer, and master of ceremonies occured in April 1996 as a cast member in the production "Love on Broadway".

To improve upon his singing skills, voice lessons were pursued at the Boston Conservatory. Since the that time, other appearances include "Brigadoon", "A Christmas Carol", "Pirates of Penzance", "Anything Goes", ""Meet Me in St. Louis", "Miracle on 34th Street", "HMS Pinafore".

Recent exposure to MIT Gilbert and Sullivan Players in "The Zoo" has left him feeling young! "What a joy to work with students in such educational surroundings"!
