What is Tecplot? Where does it come from?

Tecplot is a data visualization package developed explicitly for engineers and scientists. It is developed and marketed by Tecplot, Inc. .

Tecplot on Athena

Tecplot 360ex version 2014R1 is the current default version on Athena for all platforms. You can run it by typing:

add tecplot; tecplot &

General 360ex-14 R1 usage information can be found in files README.athena and README.config. The What Runs Where Tecplot entry may have the most current pointers to documentation.
