What is Tecplot? Where does it come from?

Tecplot is a data visualization package developed explicitly for engineers and scientists. It is developed and marketed by Tecplot, Inc. .

Tecplot on Athena

Tecplot 360ex version 2016R1 is the current default version on Athena for all platforms. You can run it by typing:

add tecplot; tecplot &

Tecplot 360ex version 2016R2 is also available. You can run it by typing:

add tecplot; tecplot -ver 360ex-16r2 &
