What is Tecplot? Where does it come from?

Tecplot is a data visualization package developed explicitly for engineers and scientists. It is developed and marketed by Tecplot, Inc. . Chorus is a utility for managing CFD simulations.

Tecplot on Athena

Tecplot 360ex version 2018 R1 is the current default version on Athena. You can run it by typing:

add tecplot; tecplot &

To run Chorus:

add tecplot; chorus &

Tecplot 360ex version 2017 R3 is also available. You can run it by typing:

add tecplot; tecplot -ver 360ex-17r3 &
