Tech Jazz Singers - History, IAP 1996

During the fall, we spent almost all of our rehearsal time achieving a solid group sound and learning repertoire for our debut concert. We didn't do any work on jazz improvisation; a few of us, who already had some improvisation skills, took solos at the concert. This January, instead of learning new charts, we're spending time on harmony, ear training, and improvisation.
