As part of the MacVicar Education Seminar Series, Richard K. Miller, Ph.D., founding President and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, will speak about "Olin College: Reflections on Ten Years of Experimentation in Engineering Education", on Friday, November 20th, in 3-133, from 2:00-3:00 PM, followed by an opportunity for Q&A. Guidelines on Learning that Inform Teaching at MIT is now available at TLL! The booklet represents a survey of the literature in higher education and student learning. Each chapter contains quotations highlighting relevant points from the literature, followed by comprehensive reference lists.
