Material Transfer Agreements
Outgoing
If you are transferring biological material from MIT to another non-profit
institution, you must fill out the Simple
Letter Agreement for the transfer of materials. Please note
that an authorized member of the TLO must sign these agreements.
If you are transferring biological material from MIT to a for-profit
institution please contact the TLO at 617-253-6966 to speak
with one of our licensing officers.
Incoming
To receive materials from third parties, please submit an
online incoming MTA request.
The material transfer agreement (contract) document
sent by the provider of the material should be attached to the
above request. Your request can not be processed without
this document.
