Material Transfer Forms
If you are transferring biological material from MIT to another
non-profit institution, you must fill out the Simple
Letter Agreement for the transfer of materials. Please note
that an authorized member of the TLO must sign these agreements.
If you are transferring biological material from MIT to a for-profit
institution please contact the TLO at 617-253-6966 to speak
with one of our licensing officers.

Inventions
and Proprietary Information Agreement (for MIT Employees
and Graduate Students)
Every MIT employee is to sign this form upon joining MIT.
Visiting Scientists
All Visiting Scientists (professors, scholars,
and research affiliates) who are involved in research at MIT
are required to sign a Visiting Scientist Invention and Proprietary
Information Agreement. We would appreciate it if the appropriate
form could be completed either before the arrival of the Visiting
Scientist or within the first week of his/her arrival.

To be signed by Visiting Scientists who will be working at MIT
and whose company or institution does not have
a sponsored research agreement with MIT.
