OPENING #1
POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE - Working on the development of novel approaches to form oral solid doses with an emphasis on integrating the API directly into a variety of polymer matrices. The research will span both fundamental research and applied development on a broad range of platforms including – film casting, electro processing, injection molding. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to work in an academic environment which collaborates closely with Novartis Pharmaceutical with the aim to revolutionize pharmaceutical manufacturing.
REQUIREMENTS: a Ph.D. in an interdisciplinary field such as chemical engineering physical chemistry, pharmaceutical science or material/polymer science/engineering is required. Experience in both modeling and hands on laboratory work would be a distinct advantage. We seek a candidate who is independent, self-motivated, yet able to work as part of a team. The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skill.
