I contributed to design of the Weight-Loss Robot, a robot designed to help users maintain a diet and exercise routine. The robot would serve as a replacement to tradition pen and paper logs usually kept by participants in weight-loss programs.
I machined and assembled 18 weight-loss robots for in-home testing of Boston Medical Center patients. I was also responsible for speech software, machining, and circuit design layout for various electronic components.
I worked under Professor Cynthia Breazeal and PhD candidate Cory Kidd. Kidd founded Intuitive Automata company based on Weight-Loss Robot concept.
