UA Executive Meeting Minutes from September 16, 2009 1 Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 8:00 pm. 2 Website The future of the UA website is at http://new.ua.scripts.mit.edu. Feedback/suggestions should be sent to ua-cit@mit.edu. 3 Executive Meeting Times We have good attendance tonight. In the future, Exec will be on Wednesdays at 7 pm. 4 Budget Task Force Report Chancellor Clay, Dean Lerman, and other deans will come nextWednesday night to Exec at 7 pm in W20-400. Please read the Task Force Report if you haven't already, and prepare short summaries for the Task Force recommendations tasked to your committees. Go to the community forums on Thursday and Monday; you've all received the emails about this. 5 Committee Goals Please send these to ua-admin@mit.edu if you have not yet. 6 UA Committee Recruiting Email As Michael Bennie is ill with the flu, this will happen go out to undergrads later this week. Email ua@mit.edu if your recruiting needs have changed or if you have not mentioned them so that we can give the proper details in the email. 7 Miscellaneous Bennie and Maggie working on Task Force on Student Engagement because other governments were not attending. We have the UA Update in the Tech. If you want something to get into the Friday issue, you need to email it to ua-secretary@mit.edu by noon on Wednesday. Liz will be even more happy with you if you get it to her by Tuesday at 7 pm.
