The S3 mission is to promote the academic success and holistic experience of students, especially undergraduates. S3 reinforces the core values of MIT by providing support in an accessible and respectful environment. We further provide advice and advocacy for students and act as a hub of resources, referrals, and information across the MIT community.
Student Support Services (S3) is a program within the Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Programming (UAAP), which is overseen by Julie B. Norman, Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and the Director of the UAAP.
S3 staff are integrated with other resources in the UAAP including Student Disabilities Services, to provide comprehensive academic and personal support to undergraduates.
