MIT has some unique features in its grading and credit systems. You should learn how grades and credit are generally awarded, and as needed refer to detailed information about specific policies. Therefore, this section includes information on MIT grading and credit to help both you and your advisor.
Familiarize yourself with MIT's Student Information Policy and find out how to provide your grades and other academic information to prospective employers and others.
You should also familiarize yourself with rules of the Faculty governing classes, examinations, and assignments, which are summarized in the Term Regulations described in the section on Subjects.
