Upperclass Decisions
During your sophomore, junior, and senior years, you have many decisions to make about your academic program. You continue the process of self-assessment and exploration that you began in your first year leading to your decision about a choice of major.
As an upperclassman, you will be making decisions about:
- Your Major
- Is it right for you?
- What area/field should you pursue?
- Your Requirements
- How do you fulfill your requirements?
- Which HASS Concentration?
- Which REST and Lab subjects?
- Enriching Your Program
- After MIT
For more information about making these decisions, see Self-Assessment, Gather Information, and Make a Plan.
Read more about Choice of Major on the First Year site. Information on majors is available in the Bulletin and on the sites of the Academic Departments.
