Please join us in Room 9-217 at 4:30 pm on TUESDAY, Dec. 12, for the wrap-up of this Fall’s Speaker Series on "e-Planning, Urban Science and Digital Transition.” The topic is "QUO VADIS, DUSP?” Light refreshments will be served and please note that, for scheduling reasons, the session is Tuesday (rather than the usual Monday).

We are grateful for the generous participation, both from DUSP and the e-Planning international community, in what we have achieved so far, during these challenging and difficult times. Guest speakers from 3 continents, senior and junior faculty, spurs fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, have engaged in a productive debate. More details are available here: mit.edu/uis/e-planning2023/ The final product of the Fall events will be a book "e-Planning and urban science for Digital Transition - With no one left behind,”

However, before moving on to the book, it is important to have some closure and to extract some conclusions and valuable feedback. In this last session, the Fall 2023 e-Planning Seminar organizers will present a short report and invite Faculty to reflect on the future role of DUSP in shaping the digital transformation of urban planning and its impact on local governance, social inequality and participatory planning.

We hope you can join us for this discussion.
