Optional Slots

soupDescr

String. This user-visible string describes the soup and is equivalent to the userDescr slot of a soup def.

defaultDataType

Symbol. This is the datadef symbol used for entries which are created automatically by NewtApp (as, for instance, when switching to an empty folder). It matters only when your application supports embedding stationery.

CreateBlankEntry

func(). Returns a new frame. Used whenever NewtApp needs to create a new soup entry. Override to provide initial values for your soup entries.

FillNewSoup

func(). Called when a new soup is created. Override to populate a new soup with initial entries.
