MoviePlayer is the standard application for playing movies on the Macintosh--when you double click a QuickTime movie, MoviePlayer is launched. MoviePlayer is located in the folder titled MoviePlayer. MoviePlayer's application memory size is preset to 1,000K. This size will normally work well for short movies. You may find that playback of higher data-rate movies is not smooth with this pre-configured setting. If you experience this, increase the memory size in the MoviePlayer's Get Info dialog box.
